Swan Nest Chair
This project arose from a personal urban observation: after my sister gave birth, we repeatedly faced the lack of nursing rooms in public spaces when going out together. This widespread social issue inspired me to design a nursing chair specifically for breastfeeding mothers in public settings.
Inspired by the elegant posture of a swan protecting its young, the design features a wraparound structure and clever physical barriers to create a secure and private sanctuary for mothers and infants in open environments. It aims to address the lack of infrastructure while conveying a clear message: breastfeeding is a natural and respected act that deserves societal support and protection.
Materials: Acrylic paint, photosensitive resin
