Geometric Library
A design call was held in my hometown last year to build a library in the village. My design inspiration came from the common geometric beauty found on dinner plates, which became the architectural language of this library. I extracted geometric triangles and arranged them in an array. If actually constructed, I would use wood and glass as the main materials, echoing the natural connection between the land and the lake while reshaping the relationship between light and space. The reflections from the lake surface change with time, subtly altering the internal atmosphere and creating a dynamic learning space that transcends rural limitations.
Materials: Black cardstock, gray cardstock, wooden boards, acrylic panels
