Crab Dance Pools

My creation began with a loyal companion—a crab I had kept for two years. A fascinating coincidence led me to an online animation of a crab "dancing" to music, and its charmingly clumsy movements instantly captivated me.

I attempted to capture these frozen dance poses using wooden sticks, then overlapped and combined them, as if freezing time in space to recreate that vibrant rhythm.

Finally, I placed this "dance" atop a shallow puddle—not only to simulate the crab’s native environment but also to evoke a sense of summer coolness and childlike interactive joy for viewers.
